Best Result: Had second outright a couple of times in Super TT, in 2007, on my way to second in the championship, things may have been different overall had we not suffered, mechanical failures at Wakefield and Calder.

Best Racing Memory: Starting at Oran Park in the Touring Car Challenge as invited Giant Killer, Nov 2007, had SW Sports as Sponsor, Grid Girls and cameraman at the ready, qualified 10th from 15, and had a great run before suffering some over boost problems, which meant we had to back off the boost for race two and three.
The feeling of a full on V8 Giant going past you full noise is exhilarating, to say the least, it was a real step up from Super TT.

Why/how you got into racing: My Dad, Paddy Holmes was involved in the construction of Oran Pk, as a member of the Singer Car Club, and had me at Bathurst in a bassinet as he competed with Trever Mehan in their Twin Cam Fiat (Armstrong 500, 1965) and later in their Mini Din, a home built sports car with a rear mount 1300cc Mini Cooper engine.

Plans for 2009: After the crash at Calder in 08 and the passing of Stuart Wilson, (a real tragedy) trying to regroup and sponsor hunt, to allow us to compete in 2009.

Your team and who makes it all possible: My mechanics from LUCAS AUTOMOTIVE / S*BARU PARTS, have been a great help over 2008, and will continue to do so in 2009 it’s a real team effort.
